Her Royal Highness The Princess of Yaximixche, Princess Manqo declared open the Second Life's City of the Arts on 26th August at 12:15 PM PDT.

After following the formal process for requesting Her Royal Highness presence, Mr Eddi Haskell, CoFounder and Patron of the Second Life's City of the Arts received with enthusiasm the acceptance letter from the Private Secretary to The Princess of Yaximixche confirming that Her Royal Highness was attending his gala celebration.


On Sunday´s ceremony, The Princess of Yaximixche arrived to the island´s royal landing area in company of her Private Secretary, Miss CW McMillan, and the Princess´s Bodyguard, Mr Mucus Renoir. The visit officially started at 11:30 hrs with a Royal Salute of 41 gun shoots and a reception offered by the Board of Directors of Second Life's City of the Arts. After a tour around the modern and elegant galleries Her Royal Highness and members of the Royal Household were escorted to the photography studios where the royal party learned about the art creation process.


At 12:10 hrs, the royal party proceeded across the Princess Margaret Countess of Snowden Bridge towards the podium where their arrival was greeted with a rousing fanfare.


Immediately after, HRH Princess Manqo gave a solemn speech encouraging artists to pioneer in Second Life and other Virtual Worlds.


And when the hands of the Second Life´s clock were at 12:15, Her Royal Highness declared open the City of the Arts causing a storm of applauses amongst the distinguished audience of more than 80 Second Life residents.


The Princess of Yaximixche unveiled special exhibits from Haskell and Waydelich Galleries, Elysian Art Decole Gallery, Maximov Gallery, PBM Creations, Second Life Fashion House, Second Life Design Center, SL Inworld Today, Simor McMillan Art and Construction, Kazan Sculpture Garden and Zen Rock Garden. While visiting the different venues Her Royal Highness chatted happily with artists and creators of this unique sim. The royal visit ended at 15:00 hrs when beats of the modern dancing floor started to resound accross the new opened island.

The City of the Arts is a non profit arts organization consisting of art galleries, three independent galleries, the Second Life Fashion House, the Second Life Design Institute, and other facilities.

HRH The Princess of Yaximixche, Princess Manqo, is raising awareness of different activities and organisations close to her heart such as tackling Climate Change, protecting the Amazon Rainforest, and helping people-in-need, in Second Life, and in Real Life.

Current Activities of Princess Manqo at HRH Princess Manqo Foundation

Dancing in different ballrooms to raise funds for HRH Princess Manqo Foundation and support her charity work.

Creating power point presentations about the Future of Climate Change with textures funded by HRH Princess Manqo Foundation.

Attending Second Life´s classes to learn and create her own dresses, gowns, hair, and jewellery and attend events to raise funds for HRH Princess Manqo Foundation. Additionally she is learning scripting for future projects of HRH Princess Manqo Foundation.

Providing information to any Second Life citizen about the importance of fighting Climate Change, its effects, and protection of the Amazon Rainforest by using everyday a tag over her head.

Giving talks about Climate Change by using power point presentations textures funded by HRH Princess Manqo Foundation.
